We do not work with or bill insurance, but can provide a superbill at the end of care for potential reimbursement from insurance. Insurance may be used for labs and ultrasounds.
Our clients often use health sharing plans such as Christian Healthcare Ministries or Samaritan Ministries with great success.
We accept cash, check, HSA/FSA cards, and credit/debit cards. A 3.5% card processing fee applies to all card transactions.

Complimentary Consultation
We offer a free consultation to meet with the midwife and get all your questions answered. This is a great chance for us to see if we are a good fit for one another. This appointment can be done in-person or virtually and are scheduled for 30 minutes.

Midwifery Care Package - $7800
Our midwifery care includes:
Prenatal care, limited ultrasounds for viability and positioning, home birth, postpartum care, newborn care through 6 weeks, basic breastfeeding support, birth tub, and birth supplies.

Travel Fee - $600
All homebirth clients located greater than 45 minutes from Altoona, Iowa will incur a travel fee of $600.

Standalone Prenatal or Postpartum Visit - $200
Some clients choose to do co-care with a midwife even if they are planning a hospital birth. This visit includes education, vitals assessment, fundal height measurement, and fetal heart tone assessment.

Lactation Visit - $200
Lactation support includes weight checks, latch assessment, and care plans to support the mother-baby dyad.

Well Woman Visit - $200
We offer well woman and preconception visits. These appointments consist of a physical exam, lifestyle education, labs, and pap smear, if indicated.
